Bruce's Bio

Bruce J. Patterson is Vice President and Corporate Compliance officer for Navistar, Inc., at Navistar’s headquarters in Lisle, Illinois.  His background includes 35 years of progressive financial experience in auditing and internal accounting.  In 2007, Bruce moved from a position as Navistar’s Vice President, Corporate Audit and Consulting, to Navistar’s Vice President and Corporate Compliance Officer in order to develop the Corporate Compliance organization for Navistar.

Bruce graduated from the University of New Haven with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.  He received a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Bridgeport.  Bruce is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Bruce has taught financial accounting as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Chicago.  He has presented ethics training in numerous countries, including Mexico, China, India, Canada, and Brazil.  He has participated as a faculty member and course handbook contributor for the Practising Law Institute (since 2010).

Bruce has chaired the Manufacturers Alliance (MAPI) Corporate Compliance Council and is active in various other professional and charitable organizations.

Born in Milford, Connecticut, Bruce moved to the Cincinnati area in 1990.  He presently maintains residences in both the Fort Myers and Cincinnati areas.
